On December 11, I went to the jewelers and picked up the engagement ring with the diamond! When I saw how beautiful it was, I could not wait any longer to propose so I switched all of my plans for that night. I picked up Lindsey and we drove to P.F. Changs to eat the best chinese food ever. I hurried up and ate because I wanted to propose right away… well we were done and the fortune cookies arrived! Lindsey opened hers and instead of reading the fortune which I had put in it, she started to eat the cookie! I was confused and didn’t know what to do, so I picked up my cookie hoping she would get the hint. Well she did and started to read the fortune which read, “I love you. Will you marry me?” Before she was able to finish reading it there I was on my knee proposing! I caught her completely off guard and it felt so good to ask such a thing. April 16th is the date and we will be getting married in the San Diego Temple. We are excited! Thanks everyone for your support.
