Get in my Mouth

Tyler is now 4 months old and he’s more fun than ever. He’s been smiling at us for about 1 1/2 months now, but he never could laugh. About 3 weeks ago he started to laugh and we can’t get enough of it!! When he’s in a really good mood and you stare at him he’ll smile and just start laughing out of nowhere. It’s great. Or when he’s in the bath naked and Dad leans over to adjust the water and Tyler lets loose all over Dad’s face, also seems to be a time when he laughs. Who would have known?
Aunt Tone came to visit us for 10 days and we had a blast. Especially Tyler. He was thoroughly spoiled and enjoyed napping on her when she allowed it. Chino also enjoyed taking her naps on Tone’s bed, but only when she wasn’t using it. Picky cat I guess.
Tyler also enjoys walking, even though it requires us to hold his hands and walk behind him, he still enjoys it. We’ve also found that he does his best walking in front of the mirror on the counter. He’ll walk right up to himself and when he gets real close to it he stops and just stares. Sometimes he goes all the way and just sort of starts sucking on the mirror. Speaking of which, he is now putting everything in his mouth; Toys, Blankets, Strings, Chino, both of his fists, his thumb, 3 fingers, Chino, clothing and anything else he can get his hands on. I’m going to start leaving trails of sour gummy bears to see if he likes those too.
Tyler enjoys being on both his back an stomache. When we lay him down on his back, within 5 minutes he’s on his stomache scooting around. Pretty soon we are going to have to put him in a playpen to keep his roaming contained.
We finished our move successfully and enjoy our new place. Having the 3rd bedroom makes it a lot easier to keep the office stuff seperate from Tylers stuff. Chino enjoys it too. Everynight at about 3am we hear her running up and down the hallways chasing her fake mouse. The thing is full of catnip and of course she doesn’t play with it during the day. No. She plays with it in the middle of the night.
