Tyler is now 9 months old and a little riot. He’’s crawling everywhere but prefers to stand when possible. He can pull himself up and stand for long periods of time until he gets bored and falls down. He also has 7 teeth now!!! 3 on bottom and 4 up top. We try to get him to show them off by sticking our fingers in his mouth, but he just sticks out his tongue hiding them, or just sucks on our fingers. But they are there….. sometimes during the night he grinds his teeth and its so loud! I always though that you could only grind your molars, but I guess not. He loves taking baths and playing in water. Anytime he makes his way to the bathroom he always stands himself up next to it and tries to lift himself into the bathtub, its really cute. He’’s definatly a water baby.
We recently took a trip to Monterey where Jake had a 4 day conference for work. It was our first time driving over 3 hours with Tyler in the car. He did well and never fussed which made the entire trip nice. This Thanksgiving & Christmas we will be driving to Southern California so hopefully he does just as well. Usually we fly for such trips but we want to see how he holds up for such a long trip.
For Halloween, Tyler went as a gorilla. We considered the whole “Mini-Me” idea, but that would require too much effort… We didn”t really take him door to door but we did goto a church-hosted activity which was fun. He helped serve the rootbeer to trick or treaters for the first 20 minutes and then fell asleep on Jake’’s shoulder for the rest of the night. Poor gorilla was exhausted.
