One year ago today, Tyler was born. Today we took him to Chuck-E-Cheeses. I wasn’t sure who was more out of control; The millions of unsupervised teenagers, or the annoying-as-hell-parents stuffing their faces with pizza and soda not caring about who their kids cut in line in front of, or push around…. but lucky for us, Tyler loved it
We plan on throwing an actual party for him next weekend… and I have been assured that we will not be returning to Chuck-E-Cheeses.
Tyler has 9 teeth, walks all over the place, brushes his own teeth and cooks a wicked steak.
Well, we had promised so many of you videos of Tyler walking and running everywhere.. but we had problems with the conversion. So as soon as we are able to get it online, we’ll re-excite everyone.
So yes, Tyler has officially been walking for 11/2 weeks now. Well actually for a month+. You see, Tyler has been walking around but he could only go for about 10 steps before he’d crash and fall. Tyler continued this for weeks until out of nowhere he started running up and down the hall laughing and screaming. He would start in our bedroom and walk down the hall with his hands in the air until he made it to the kitchen, where he would turn back around and go back to the bedroom. He would repeat this 10-15 times. I truly believe he realized that he could finally walk because he just couldn’t get enough and kept laughing.
Lindsey is actively pursuing her nursing career, and in her sparetime is also looking into becoming a phlebotomist. This will give her experience in the hospital setting. I’m going back to school and will be done next year.
